4 months old!

Henry is 4 months old!

Henry sleeps all night in his crib, waking between 1 and 3 times.  He loves his jumperoo and he loves the book Going on a Bear Hunt.  He does not have a specific schedule, but he does have a bedtime routine that begins around 6 pm (bath, PJs, song, book, boob, sleep).  He tends to take about 3 naps a day (1 on the bed, 2 in the wrap).  He takes them when he gets tired, which is different each day.  He is now wearing size medium cloth nappies.

We will begin solids as soon as he can sit up on his own (probably not until around 5 or 6 months), as per the recommendation from our GP.  We will be doing Baby-Led Weaning.  Since Mark has coeliac, we have to be careful with the introduction of gluten.  

Milestones:

• Laughs out loud
• Rolls over front to back (and back to side)
• Reaches for objects and grabs hanging toys
• Keeps head level with body when pulled to sitting
• Turns in direction of voice
• Can see mummy all the way across the room 
• Grabs at mummy's shirt and hair 

Next big milestones that we are waiting on: rolling back to front, sitting up unassisted
