3 Months Old!

Henry is 3 months old today!  The "fourth trimester" is over and he is no longer considered a newborn.  He's finally getting to the stage where he likes to play and is much more interactive.  He also is old enough for the kangaroo carry in a sling! 

He is technically not sleeping through the night, but he consistently goes to sleep by 6 or 7 pm and wakes up for the day at 5 or 6 am.  He has a 4-4.5 hour stretch and then wakes up about every 2-3 hours after that to feed (goes right back to sleep though!).  Henry is still in our room at night, sleeping in his hammock, and sometimes ends up in our bed if I fall asleep during a feeding.  We are thinking that pretty soon we would like him to start out the night in his crib and after his first waking sleep in our room.  I will let you know how it goes!

Milestones:

• Visually tracks moving objects (including mummy and daddy)
• Blows bubbles
• Does mini-pushup
• Holds head steady 
• Squeals, gurgles, coos
• Can brings hands together
• Looks at hands
• Brings hands to mouth
• grasps rattle when you hand it to him
  

We are still waiting for him to bat at toys (he sort of does, but it doesn't look intentional), roll over, and grab for toys (he can grasp when you put a toy on his hand, but he doesn't reach out and grab for toys).
