Henry is 15 months old!

My little boy is 3 months into his second year already!  He is still a tiny peanut (which is so bizarre to me. There is no explanation for his small size).  I talk to Henry about baby brother Owen all the time, but there's no way that he can understand that there is a baby is in my belly and in 4.5 months it will be living here with us full time.  Hopefully over the next few months we can think about transitioning to the toddler bed.

What Henry's been up to for the past 3 months:
  • He has 8 teeth now
  • Skilled walker-- walks backwards, in circles, runs, etc.
  • No real words yet, but lots of word-like sounds like na na na for "No" (and shakes his head) and shhh.  His favourite "word" is da da.  He uses it for everything!
  • LOVES swimming in our pool.  We go in every single day.  He's so cute, he puts his hat on and tries to put his cloth swim diaper on to let me know that he wants to go swimming
  • We have a picky eater on our hands.  I keep offering him a variety of foods, but here's what he typically ends up eating in a day:
    • Breakfast: scrambled eggs with cheese and 3 tablespoons high-iron baby porridge mixed with 1/2 a banana
    • Lunch: he was eating an almond butter, cream cheese, & jam sandwich on whole wheat bread every day but is now sick of that.  Now he eats whole wheat pasta spirals with butter and parmesan cheese
    • Snacks during the day: TONS of fruit.  This kid is obsessed with fruit.  Eats a whole peach and throws the pit in my purse, cantaloupe, honey dew, grapes, watermelon.  He also loves all sorts of crackers, sometimes will eat crackers with melted brie cheese on them
    • Dinner: Rarely ever eats dinner. He's not a fan of sitting in his high chair for any meal besides breakfast, so I have to think of finger foods that he can carry around the house in his little bowls.
    • Drinks: At least 1 cup of organic whole milk per day, water, breastfeeding
  • He likes scribbling on his easel, but always tries to eat the crayons
  • Points to everything in books wanting to know what they are (he really REALLY loves looking at books)
  • Can identify (by pointing) ears, nose, mouth, eyes
  • Can build a tower of at least 7 blocks, and a zillion legos
  • Can throw a ball well, sort of kicks a ball
  • Likes to "help" me in whatever I'm doing (dusting, hanging up laundry, etc.)
