Can he stay this age forever?

I'm sitting here watching my husband play with Henry in our backyard and it is amazingly sweet!  Henry is so happy crawling around and playing.  He's picking flowers, examining rocks, and climbing his play equipment.  What a wonderful, curious, exploratory age.  It makes me wonder why I was ever in such a hurry for him to meet milestones.  Henry took his first steps a few days ago (don't worry, he's not actually walking yet! Just a step here and there!) and it was bittersweet.  On one hand it's exciting to see him meet milestones, but on the other hand my baby boy is getting closer and closer to not being a baby any more.  He's a going to be a toddler before I know it!
